❄️Awaken Your Inner Light In Langtang 🏔️
🏔️A sacred journey into the heart of the Himalayas🏞️
Day 1: Drive to Syabrubesi by local sharing jeep 1,530 m - (122km/6/7 hours). Early in the morning, after breakfast, we will either take a taxi to Machhapokhari or take a shared jeep directly to Syabrubesi.
If we are using local buses, then you can get bus tickets in Machhapokhari. The road trip is joyous as you will traverse through terraced farmlands and towns. The condition of the road is both nice and bumpy.
The total distance between Kathmandu and Syaprubeshi is about 122 kilometers. On this day, we will have to get our permit to enter Langtang National Park. Nearby, the Dhunche Nepal Army will check our permit, and we will have to register our entry.
Once you have reached Syapurbeshi, we will check into the lodge. In the evening, you can stroll around the town. This is the town near the border of China.
Therefore, you can see lots of container trucks moving to and from China with lots of goods. Enjoy the walk on the bank of the river or within the town center.
This small town is a good place to understand the value of tourism in Nepal. Overnight at the lodge.
Day 2: Trek from Syafrubensi to Lama Hotel 2,450 m - (11km/6/7 hours) The trekking starts today as we head to Lama Hotel. The trail is nice and cozy.
We will trek through terraced farmlands and hamlets by listening to the raging sound of the Langtang Lirung River all the way up to Lama Hotel.
This place has a few tea houses and is in the middle of green, lush forests. The atmosphere will help you to collect tranquil forest vibes.
Moreover, you feel blessed as this is the first day of our trek, and your body will answer you promptly as you will not feel any kind of tiredness. Overnight at the tea house.
Day 03: Trek from Lama Hotel to Langtang Village 3,430 m - (14/km/ 7/8 hours) Today is the most remarkable day of our trek.
We will be trekking through green, lush forests and bamboo forests.
If we are lucky, we can spot highly endangered species of red pandas near Ghoda Tabela.
The trail is full of chortens and prayer flags. Once we reach the Langtang Village, you can stroll around and observe the place.
In 2015, the entire village was washed out due to the earthquake and the Langtang Lirung Avalanche.
Therefore, this is the new village. You will be amazed to know the stories of the people of Langtang. These people are truly magnificent and intrepid.
They overcame all the hurdles and rose again. The most affected region due to the 2015 earthquake is Langtang Valley Village, but now they are fully able to host trekkers. This shows
the great tenacity and perseverance of the Tamang people of the region. Overnight at the tea house.
Day 04: Trek from Langtang village to Kyanjin Gompa 3,830 m - (9.5km/3/4 hours) Early in the morning, after breakfast, we will begin our trek.
Our trekking guide will conduct a small PT session to avoid cramps during the trek.
On this day, we will walk on a trail through lots of small hamlets and terraced farmland,s crossing several streams. We can reach Kyanjin during lunch hours.
Therefore, we can get enough time to explore the village of Kyanjin. There is a 7th-century-old monastery called Kyanjin Gompa, which you can visit and get blessings.
The place is situated in the foothills of Kyanjin Ri and offers splendid scenery of Mt. Langtang Lirung. You can stroll around the village and immerse in the local culture. Overnight at the tea house.
Day 05: Optional Hike to Tserkuri Viewpoint (4984m) - (7.5km/5/6 Hrs) Explore the Langtang Himalayas with the Tibetan Himalayas Ranges.
You can choose to do the Kyanjin Ri hike on this day, or you can do a day hike to Tserko Ri (4984 m).
Hiking to Tserko Ri is daunting, but it is equally rewarding in terms of the mountain vista. This is the optional hike that you can do while spending a day in Kyanjin Gompa.
If not, you can do the gentle hike of Kyanjin Ri. The 360-degree view of the mountain will definitely enthrall your trekking experiences. In comparison to two beautiful viewpoints, the Tserkuri would be beautiful and worthy. Also quite difficult with the strenuous uphill to the Tserkuri viewpoint. You can see the world's 14th-tallest peak, Mt Shisapagma (8027m), with the stunning Langtang Himalayas if the weather gets clear.
Day 06: Trek from Kyanjin Gompa to Lama Hotel 2,450 m - (15km/ 7/8 hours) We will retrace the same trail back to Lama Hotel. You will be amazed that the return trip is much more pleasing than the ascent time. It is because the altitude decreases, and you will be fully acclimatized on this day.
Relish the chance to traverse through Langtang village. The return trip from Kyanjin Gompa to Lama Hotel is the best time to spot a red panda than while going to Langtang village from Lama Hotel. While returning, you must not be complacent, as you may suffer from cramps, as we will have to walk for more than 6 hours, excluding lunch breaks. Overnight at the tea house
Day 07: Trek from Lama hotel to Syabrubensi - (11km/5/6 hours) We will retrace the same trail back to Syabrubesi. Today is the last day of the trek. Therefore, in the evening, you
